Outdoor Patio

Outdoor Patio/Stoep (A work in progress.)

I chose cream and brown woody tones with red accents. It was easy finding red things in and around the house as red is about the only colour I can stand in decor and clothing. The rest of my house and wardrobe is pretty much monotone beige, creams, off whites, earthy browns and black.

Day 2: I found some decent quality outdoor/indoor furniture at a steal. The lantern and lamp is all old things I had, in fact the lantern was a hand me down from my mother-in-law which ended up on my bedroom vanity and it now looks so cute on the coffee table.

Day 3: A cheap rug I unearthed at Mr Price Home ties the colour scheme together. The tall candle holder also comes from my bedroom vanity. The clock on the wall and tinsel is my husbands impeccable  taste.

Day 30+: The chandelier, server and table is the latest additions. I have the server makeover here and the table makeover here which is my current project.

  1. Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of
any widgets I could add to my blog that automatically tweet my newest twitter updates.
I’ve been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and
was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this.
Please let me know if you run into anything.
I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to
    your new updates.
